Why did I create my offer Ella Explains LinkedIn?

I needed someone to explain LinkedIn to me when I started my business.

I had very little idea about how to ‘be’ on here back in 2017. I’d just finished my social media marketing training and LinkedIn was a mystery.

🤔 I had no strategy to build my network.

🤔 I played safe and just connected with people from my course and other social media marketers.

🤔 I also tended to just comment on and repost their content.

🤔 I connected with anyone who sent me a connection request – then wondered why I was seeing so many sales posts or posts that didn’t interest me in my feed.

It would have been easy to have given up on LinkedIn. But I didn’t.

I made a conscious decision to do something differently. I posted a video of me talking to the camera. Somehow it was watched by a few people who knew about LinkedIn and how to build genuine connections.

They connected with me and I learnt from them.

I continue to learn from valued LinkedIn trainers and I pay attention to the latest updates and current best practice.
